As the writing journey continues, I'm excited to let you know that the October 2014 issue of Science of Mind magazine is out and features an article I wrote about my healing journey. "Find The Antidote In The Venom" (a quote from 13th century mystic poet Rumi) served as a guiding mantra as I navigated through the turbulent and murky waters of cancer.
Here's a brief exerpt:
"The mind is a powerful instrument of consciousness. It excels at organizing and analyzing information, and strategizing for outcomes with which it is already familiar. Meanwhile, the nature of life is constant change and expansion. There is an underlying pull to evolve. When we resist that evolution, our mind invariably comes up with a thousand excuses to remain on familiar ground. Growth, however, demands a departure from the predictable, from the known. When we lead from the heart and let love guide, we see a new and greater picture, a perfection of relationships and interaction that put chaos and challenge into perspective. We begin to see obstacles as part of an inherent pull toward growth and expansion. Fear and resistance fall away."
Here's to our continued growth, deepening awareness, and expanded experience of LOVE!
